Meet the True North Team
Our builders journey began with a love for carpentry and craftsmanship, so we bring that passion into every project that we take on. Our carpentry background has provided us with many lessons that we use to create quality craftsmanship in all of our work.

Proudly a Family Business
True North Builders started in 2018 with a passion for finish carpentry and a step of faith. Together, Sara and I decided to trust that God was leading the way, even without having everything figured out, and we feel incredibly blessed to see what the company has grown into today.
Our faith in Christ is the foundation of how we work and serve others. We believe the talents we’ve been given come with a responsibility to use them with integrity, purpose, and care.
As a small family business, we approach every project with intention and pride in our work. Our goal is simple: do excellent work, honor God in it, and serve people well.
Michael
Founder/ President
Michael enjoys working and growing the business. When he is not working, his heart is with his family doing fun activities and making memories. Michael also enjoys backpacking, working out, fishing, and hunting.
Sara
Vice President & Administrator
Sara enjoys spending time as a family, crocheting, cooking, art, the beach, and Fortnite.
Dennis
Co-Founder
Dennis has decades of construction experience and worked for a big construction outfit that built UT campus buildings and UT hospital. Dennis served his country as a Marine in Vietnam. Dennis, a jack of all trades, retired from Alcoa Aluminum and spent his first couple of years of retirement helping True North Builders hands on with their projects to help get things going.
Andrew
Construction Specialist
Andrew has been with True North since 2020. When Andrew isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, creating new fishing lures, hunting, and hunting. He is considered the Hunter by his family.
Brody
Construction Specialist
Brody started with True North fresh out of high school in 2024. Brody supports our team daily with whatever the team may need. He is learning the trade and progressing very well. When Brody isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, fishing, and hunting.
